Welcome to Meaningless Graphs!
This blog is dedicated to all of those graphs we see (on a daily basis) that either say nothing, have no purpose, mislead the reader or are just plain funny.
One category of meaningless graph that I hold in particularly high regard are those graphs created to look feasible while actually being complete gibberish. Many examples exist but some of my personal favourites were used in Chris Morris's The Day Today and Brass Eye.
"A picture is worth a thousand words", but if those words mean nothing then someone's time is being wasted. Next time you find your time being wasted by an incomprehensible or just plain idiotic graph, send it to me and I'll post it here!
